Women Who Rokt: Empowering Growth and Leadership Through Shared Experiences
When women unite, they ignite transformative power, foster bold leadership, and create opportunities for others. Our Women Who Rokt employee resource group embodied this spirit at a recent event at Rokt Headquarters, featuring the inspiring panel “Empowering Tomorrow: Elevating Women Leaders for the Future.”
The gathering went beyond networking, celebrating the meaningful connections between mentors and mentees. Participants engaged in community-building activities, including crafting friendship bracelets, strengthening bonds, and creating lasting memories.
The event’s highlight was the powerhouse panel discussion moderated by Alyse Nelson, President and CEO of Vital Voices Global Partnership. Since its founding in 1997, Vital Voices has directly supported over 20,000 women changemakers across 185 countries and built the most powerful global network of women leaders who dare reimagine a more equitable world for all. They scale and accelerate their impact through long-term investments to expand women leaders’ skills, connections, capacity, and visibility.
Esteemed panelists included Elizabeth Donovan, Head of the Marriott Media Network at Marriott International, Pam Habner, Head of US Branded Cards and Lending at Citi, and our own Ashley Firmstone, SVP of Global Enterprise Growth at Rokt. These accomplished leaders shared their personal journeys, insights, and actionable strategies for navigating challenges and seizing opportunities in the corporate landscape.
The panel highlighted the crucial role of mentorship and leadership development in advancing the careers of emerging women professionals. Their experiences and advice resonated deeply with attendees, underscoring the importance of women supporting each other in their professional journeys.

As Alyse Nelson closed the event, she reminded the audience: “Power expands the moment it’s shared.” Rather than keeping an opportunity close to one’s chest, she emphasized that opening it up to others fosters a culture of support and empowerment. In doing so, we create a ripple effect—transforming not just our workplaces and communities but building a world where every woman has the opportunity to lead boldly and authentically.
